He said at 4 pm he is feeling much better today than yesterday for south florida. Im thinking to myself, huh. You look that ridge recently. Then again 2 days ago he said this was a NC system. This is why i spend so much time on this board..the info is much better and quite frankly the forecasts are more accurate.

I agree, I would not feel too good anywhere in Florida right now. I lived there for 20+ years and have NEVER seen anything like this for the state. Just one after another, incredible.

Well, the nice thing is, deep south Dade isn't even in the cone anymore, though they are under the Hurricane Warning. But having Florida City -- one of the places pummeled by Andrew -- pretty much out of the major danger area is at least heartening.

That's why I tend to watch Norcross on CBS 4. I don't tend to like Don Noe on 10 - he tends to underestimate things, in my opinion.

You mean Don No-Its-Not-Coming-to-South-Florida?

I started calling him that after he emphatically stated that Andrew would veer to the North and miss South Florida altogether. Right...

LOL miami - yup, that's him...Norcross is the only one I've found down here that states it how it is and gives you the various options for the tracks. I watch him anytime there's a storm ahead now....
