Will Jeanne effect Naples, FL (SW FL)??

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I lived in Naples for 11 years before moving back to MO. Btw I went to Lely. 8-) Anways right now I say Jeanne is close if not a major right now. jeanne is expected to make landfall a major. If the southern path continues Its possible Naples will see hurricane conditions or at least gust to hurricane force. I would be ready for power to be out.

Thanks Charleycat? Why'd you leave Naples?

If the NHC 3 day forecast track happens, Naples will get probably only TS winds, if that. I'd just keep an eye on it as we are still in the cone, but I'm actually not too concerned we'll get hurricane strength winds here on our SW coast.
