Well, if none of that recurve stuff happens, you might see Jeanne next week. :)

I'd never wish a cat 5 on anyone...especially not after that "cat 2" called Ivan and what it did to NW Florida.

I'm afraid that Mother Nature has decided that it was time to prune up the state of Florida and she is not quite done doing her trimming yet. I would imagine that maybe next year Ol` Ma Nature might turn her sights on Texas and try to clean up a little bit over there. :)

You dont want this kind of excitement, trust me. Now if you want some firewood, we have enough here to supply a small country, and apparently more to cut up shortly.

I really wish people wouldn't post insensitive stuff like this, especially as a whole state of people are waiting to find out if their homes are going to be destroyed and their lives at risk.

Sorry you're bored, but grow up please.

Well....Untill this year Texas was the only state to have four hurricanes strike a state in single year *1886* and one of those was a Cat5 which wiped out a single city *Indianola/ which was the Galveston of that era*

So what Florida is going thru is truly historical and if past history show us this should not happen anytime in the near future...

But as we all know it only takes one hurricane to effect someone for the rest of their lives...

I realize that you at least offered a hint of sensitivity with your last sentence there. But, please, wishing for storm here? No thanks. It's enough just to watch, prepare, and wait in anticipation until the path changes course and you know you can relax.

Slow season? Not as an observer. I've had enough excitement for the year, thank ya very much. I'd like Floridians to have a break (a really l-o-n-g one), but that doesn't mean I want stuff to come here. How about a few fish to watch in the Atlantic?

I'm not bored, gang...believe me. Plenty to do around here.

You're in our thoughts and prayers, even if the sentiment didn't come out right above. :)
