Is the ridge strong enough to make Jeanne wobble back wsw as she approaches the coast?
Do any models show this, or is Broward effectively off the hook for a direct landfall and Palm Beach County is really under the gun?
Is Broward off the hook? WSW jog possible?

this stinks ...
Hate to use that kind of language, but I went to sleep last night expecting some hurricane force winds, some power loss, but not a huge problem. Now, it's not out of the question that here in Jupiter, we could even get the eyewall. The forecast landfall point seems to have moved south from Port St. Lucie/Stuart, to just over the Martin County line. That's way too close for comfort. We obviously still have power, the shutters are up, and lots of supplies ready to go. Judging from the radar and recent movement, we have about 4 hours until the first squally bands hit. But the overnight track shift and recent movement is very troubling.
