It seems on the vapor loop the high is moving east a little faster now. I would not be surprised if this thing stayed just off the coast of FL and ran up into Myrtle Beach area, so you may be in for than just mild wind.

The reason I asked is because the NHC map shows it going west of me as a depression?? Thanks for the reply, ya'll!

From a direct hit from a hurricane, yes your fine. At worst... I would say some 50-60 mph winds up there.

The major models all agree RIGHT NOW about taking Jeanne upcountry and not having it reappear over water before reaching SC. However, watch what Jeanne ACTUALLY DOES Sunday morning, or if it does something "strange" later on this evening.

CHV, I bet we are safe, remember we were in the target last week and earlier this. That means we won't get anything. ;-) I am not even planning for football to get cancelled. They always play in the rain.

You said the one word that puts a sour taste in every Charlestonian's mouth. I know I sat in the Gov. Hodges Memorial Parking Lot(I-26) for twelve hours trying to get to Atlanta. Miserable!

Note that I'm note predicting anything like that...but given the history I think it's silly to assume anything is "safe" in that situation.
