Island frictional effects cause of N jog?

Looking at the radar, it always seems that the eye is paralleling Grand Bahama Island.

If it is in recurve it will wobble WNW soon.


The reason would be tracking along the SW periphery of High...

Appears Jeanne is skirting the island,
like Ivan did Jamaica.. remember...
Ivan went around Jamaica, then headed
straight for the gates of Ishtar !
