She's movign but slower than usual. I've been watching 5 minute radar updates for an hour. The eye is slowly coming in from the edge of the screen.

28 m / 2 h = 14 mph

I don't see why you say she has not been moving in the last 2 hours.

YOU misunderstood.....

#6 Postby bobbisboy » Sat Sep 25, 2004 4:39 pm

I meant JEANNE has not travelled 28 miles in that last 2 hours but far less than that. I would guess almost half that. She's moving, just more slowly.

Maybe if you had put a question mark at the end of the first sentence, then we could have been able to understand your statement. After all, if Jeanne slows it will be a more horrible story.

(sic)

I've seen two posts by you (of your present 35), and in both, you (attempted to have) called the OP a troll and said nothing else. I think that's inappropriate, especially considering the perfectly reasonable comments you directed your nastiness at.

Bobbisboy has been here a year longer than Kiern. He is anything but a troll.

i was just making the point....

#10 Postby bobbisboy » Sat Sep 25, 2004 7:13 pm

I was just making the point that it seems JEANNE has moved .1 of a degree over the last three hours. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't .1 of a degree equate to roughly 6 miles ?? I degree equalling about 60 miles ? I am not sure of this so I would appreciate someone who knows this exactly. thanks.

There are plenty of people who have never made a post who know much, much more more than many of the snickering, childish people on this board.

Please let people have their opinions without reacting like a spoiled brat.

Let's stick with informative discussion
