BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED
TORNADO WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL
551 PM EDT SAT SEP 25 2004

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
WESTERN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
OKEECHOBEE COUNTY
IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

* UNTIL 620 PM EDT

* AT 550 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO OVER BLUE CYPRESS
LAKE...MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 55 MPH...TOWARD NORTHEASTERN OKEECHOBEE
COUNTY INCLUDING FORT DRUM.


THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A STRONG BUILDING ON
THE LOWEST FLOOR IN AN INTERIOR ROOM AWAY FROM WINDOWS. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS
TO COVER YOUR HEAD AND BODY.

EVACUATE MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES FOR MORE SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO
SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST UNFLOODED DITCH...
CULVERT...OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
NEVER TRY TO OUTRUN A NEARBY TORNADO IN YOUR CAR.

The first I have seen from it. There have been a few TVS NE of the waring area. Now I am seeing some Mesos just off shore so there could be some waterspouts out there as well.

I see them too are you using the GRW88Level3 program from gibson ridge software?

I was just watching CNN, and MESO warnings were popping up all over the outer band, saw at least 6-7 pop up. Fortunately none lasted very long, the weatherperson didn't mention or go into detail about the picture behind her, kinda wierd.
