Husband stayed in Satellite Beach

#1 Postby gizmo » Sat Sep 25, 2004 5:23 pm

What type of conditions do you think Satellite Beach will have? I left with my children amd went to the mainland, and my husband stayed on the island, I am worried sick. The house is new, concrete block with brick, we also have a storm room built into the house. Thanks for your input, worried sick wife! :.

sounds like you house will be fine. Although Satellite beach will take a hard hit. Doubt it will be in the core or the 115 plus winds though, and it doesnt sound like you hours will have trouble with plain old hurricane force winds...heck if my shack can, certainly yours can. Dont worry about it

Hmm - from initial reports it appears the surge is much worse than Frances - water already over the dunes at Cape Canaveral and the Perkins at Satellite Beach.
