Jeanne Is About To Make History

#1 Postby tropicstorm » Sat Sep 25, 2004 8:49 pm

Jeanne will be the 1st major hurricane to landfall on the east central Florida coast in over 100 years (1899 was the last, I think). I know some of you will argue that Jeanne is a south Florida landfall - but, this will definitely be the most northerly Florida coastal major hurricane landfall in over a century. This has been quite a season, to say the least.
