TPC issued a statement regarding landfall occurring near Stuart, FL and with RECON, confirmed that Jeanne made landfall with 120 MPH sustained winds ... so actually just before landfall, a slight bump upwards in the winds and that's why the "apparent" strengthening after landfall between 11 pm and 1 am...
