I am 18 miles south of Robert who is in Brandon. I am 1 miles from Tampa Bay on the east side.

We are having sustained winds of 30-32 miles per hour (wind guage on my roof), and the highest gust I have recorded was 48. The current pressure is 988 here.

All of you--Thanks for the updates.

You guys have all been a great source of information for myself and my family. I'm also in Brandon, a few miles south of 60, providence lakes.

We still have power. The winds have definitely picked up during the last hour.

Stay safe!

I am just thrilled to see so many from Tampa on here and especially so many from eastern Hillsborough County.

I am in Apollo Beach and I keep hearing the reporter mention Sun City Center, Apollo Beach, and Riverview on the news on channel 8.

The highest gust we have had here was 61, but sustained is still about 34 mph. The pressure here is 980. It keep decreasing, I guess it will for awhile.

We lost power for awhile, but it is back for now.

Any news on how it is now? I'm currently in Sarasota (where wind has started to pick up over the last hour) but my house is in Valrico, Fl. Bit worried about how it will fair as we have a building site across the back garden - thankfully its on the south side but later today there may be flying debris.
I see the eye is heading right for the house - just as it did for Francis
Stay safe evryone - thanks for the updates good job

I'm in Riverview, and we've been getting winds and rain steady for a couple of hours. Our neighbor lost his carport, but other than that we're ok.

Looks like we're just heading into the worst of things.

Stay safe everyone.
