Any Reports From Tampa?

#1 Postby Sean in New Orleans » Sun Sep 26, 2004 9:48 am

Anybody have that link to that TV station there from Charley? I tell you...there has definitely got to be massive flooding around metro Tampa or it is developing as I write...they are just getting pounded and pounded by torrential rains from Jeanne! It's really raining there, folks!! http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p ... ktbw.shtml

I'm in the Tampa area, Brandon more specifically. It's been raining for hours and very windy with some strong gusts. It's not too bad, and I still have power. It is much stronger than what we got with Frances and with Frances I did lose power, go figure.

It all depends on where the tree limbs fall---literally!!! Glad to hear you are doing alright and hope you keep power.

Im not far from downtown Tampa. We have had VERY strong winds, trees down, but relatively little rain. It is raining constantly, but so far it seems more of a wind event. The rain just hasn't been so strong (yet). And, best of all, I still have power.

Hope the Bucs can win one for all of us suffering here in TPA!

I'll actually pull for the Bucs, tonight, if you agree to pull for the Saints at 1:00 (eastern time) against the Rams today! How about it????
BTW--I just saw the other thread on Tampa, so, sorry I started another thread on the subject!!
