Everyone needs a MUCH-needed and deserved break...sitting back and enjoying the crisp cool days of October and November, admiring the foliage, enjoying the Krispy Kremes and apple cider, cheering on your favorite college/pro football teams, etc. :D

Some Krispy Kreme trivia:

A former pastor of mine in Roanoke Rapids, NC...his father who was an artist did the logo for that doughnut industry! :)

My favorites are the chocolate-iced ones! :D I'll save you some David, Linda and any others who want some! :D

The Caribbean Sea is the favored area in October & sorry to tell ya that those SST's are still above normal.

Also that warm water you see that is east of the cooler pool that was left over from Jeanne will tend to circulate westward & moderate those cooler waters.

Anyhow other than that cooler than normal area that ATL basin is still somewhat above normal.

This season is far from over.

I love the Raleigh area in the fall. I once attended the State Fair and drank some of that delicious cider.

Those SST anomalies won't help save Cuba from another Michelle.

I think we can see another extremely powerful storm in the W Caribbean in October, similar to Mitch. 2004 just keeps on surprising us.

Just 9 more names to go! Wouldn't that be cool if this was the year the list was finally used up. The way this season has been going, it wouldn't be a surprise :P
