2 PM EDT MON SEP 27 2004
 
...JEANNE WEAKENS TO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION...
 
AT 2 PM EDT...1800Z...THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING FROM FLAGLER BEACH
FLORIDA TO SOUTH SANTEE RIVER SOUTH CAROLINA IS DISCONTINUED.
 
AT 2 PM EDT...1800Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM JEANNE WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 32.2 NORTH... LONGITUDE 83.7 WEST OR ABOUT 35
MILES SOUTH OF MACON GEORGIA.
 
JEANNE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 14 MPH...AND A TURN
TO THE NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR  35 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
ADDITIONAL SLOW WEAKENING IS FORECAST OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS  990 MB...29.23 INCHES.
 
STORM SURGE FLOODING ALONG THE GULF AND ATLANTIC COASTS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO GRADUALLY SUBSIDE TODAY.
 
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL TOTALS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER
AMOUNTS...ARE POSSIBLE IN ASSOCIATION WITH JEANNE.

It's going to pass due east of me by about 80-100 miles in a couple of hours. Been raining steadily(Light to moderate) all day. Winds occasionally gusty, but nothing over 30 mph.

TD Jeanne is back...200 miles east of NYC. Guess it wasn't the last advisory, tho I can't imagine why they issued the 11 a.m. advisory and still refer to it as "remnants"

No... she never was gone. The NHC has issued the final advisory, that's the HPC advisory. It's dead people.

nantucket had a 64mph gust past few hours and 7.2 in rain....not affecting anyone and dead? thats more weather than tampa bay had.
