This may be the wave that models have picked up on. Matthew could be here within days!

All I can say to Matthew is - please stay away from the U.S.!!! We've had enough. I've had enough. Just got power back today!

With the cold fronts coming down I'm afraid it will be pulled North should it form.

Nothing at the surface there.TUTT trough nearby so at this time nothing there to open eyebrows.But enviromental conditions may turn more favorable by next week and it is the favored area for development in october so let's see what happens.

I dont particularly like the month of October simply because Hurricane Irene SOAKED South Florida back in 1999. Add that to the fact that Hurricane Michelle scared the living crap out of everybody in South Florida in 2001 but fortunately spared us to the south.

DAVE440 was on this last night.


The area is teetering on unfavorability and even risks being taken over to EPAC.

On the other hand it is showing signs of persistence and expansion.

You read my mind. I will never forget Irene and Michelle came too close for comfort.
