I think hurricane season is over..

no expert here, but its all done i think.. now on to cool weather and a break from the heat in florida sun! :lol:

Dont listen to this person. They have no scientific basis. Hurricane season is far from over!

I disagree. There is another peak time coming in October. Don't let your guard down. GOM is a hot spot this time of year and storms can flare up pretty rapidly.

Certainly possible. A look at the archives will show many years that abruptly shut-off. What surprises me are some years that seem to have only 3 or 4 runt systems and nothing else. Almost seems impossible considering the conditions. Makes me think they missed a storm or two, but that isn't possible with all the shipping they had back then in the days before aircraft cargo shipping.

What strikes me the most is the Caribbean TUTT reassuming the same dominating position as in June & July.


If you asked me, I would say we'll see another lifting of that feature and system following before it's all said and done...

IMO if you are looking for info to better protect you and yours then you are in the right place. There are alot of people here who know what they are talking about. So much more info than the media.
