I was in Syracuse. Over 40 inches of snow.

March '93 storm....I was in Mobile watching the snow and lightning. I'd heard of that, but that's the first time I ever saw it.

Also, I remember a mega cold front one year back in the 80s I believe that actually brought snow flurries as far south as Miami. How many times has that happened?

Yah, thundersnow. You can get quite a bit of snow when that happens. I'm not sure how often Miami has seen flurries.
