Flash Tribute to Hurricane Season 2004

#1 Postby Doc Seminole » Wed Sep 29, 2004 7:42 pm

Takes awhile to load with dial up. There is probably no video that could adequately portray this season, but this flash video does a fair job.

That was a wonderful tribute ... and very compelling, with the right song to fit ... kudos to silverforkmedia for making that video ...

I did note, that they did use one photo (the naval vessel with a shelf cloud over water which is photoshopped and that picture's been around for a couple of years now ...)

IMHO, as active as it has been since 1995, and will likely continue to do so for the next 10 to 20 years, we won't see another season quite like this one, and probably in our lifetimes ...

Okay...... I sent an email to Christopher, the producer asking him about this.....

I still like the video but I think the pictures should all be real and from this season.....

Sorry I didn't really phrase that right I just saw maybe 1 or 2 pics that suggested that it wasnt a hurricane pic, the first being one of the city skyline with that odd cloud and the other being the tanker in the ocean with that huge wall cloud or whatever you call it coming in.

Well, it still gave me goose bumps. Makes me think, MAN... we are tough! Especially seeing that little old lady in the shelter with the oxygen.
Reminds me of a saying my friend always says.......'You got it to do!"

I knew I had to cry eventually, and this one did it. Thanks.

Very nice, but all of the pics are not from this hurricane season. With a zillion of them available, he should fix that and complete the tribute, of sorts.

That ship view with a wall cloud has circulated the net more than wdoom32. :)

Wow, that was amazing. I don't feel it should matter if all the pics are from this season, it still gives you a new perspective on how devestating these storms can be. Thank you for sharing...
