7:30 AM EDT Storm2k Tropical Update,Sept 30

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Sep 30, 2004 6:40 am

Still tropical storm Lisa is hanging on in the north atlantic however it is now moving into cooler waters and that factor will weaken it rapidly and be extratropical in the next couple of days.

Elsewhere in the atlantic:

A few tropical waves are moving westward in the tropical atlantic but none have ideal upper conditions to develop however the tropical wave in the atlantic around 600 miles east of the windward islands has flared up a bit there are no signs of organization at this time but we will watch it.

In the Bay of Campeche there is an area of clouds and some showers but there are no signs of organization at this time but we also will keep an eye on that area.

Tropical storm formation is not expected thru friday.

Disclaimer=This product is not official.The official source is the National Hurricane Center.

Forecaster=Luis Martinez (Cycloneye)
