They will be next after the US finishes with Iraq if NK insists to build more nuclear bombs violating the treatys.

Remember that 12 B-52's anf 12 B-1 bombers are in Guam waiting for orders to go and bomb that plant at yongblon.

I pray that this situation can be resolved. We certainly do not need or want another war.

Yes Agree Bonnie that we dont need another war but if they insist on producing more nukes then there is no choice to take that plant out but then they would invade South Korea and there is the other war that can be avoided only by Kim Jon Il if he dismantles that plant.

Ummm...actually N.Korea has not been silent for the last 3 weeks. They test fired a missile in the direction of China last week, but the US media has been so busy covering the war they haven't had time to mention much about it. I was watching MSNBC overnight last week when the story broke, but there has been little about it since then.

Agree on that Garrett the media is so focused on Iraq that North Korea is almost forgotten but now that the war is going to end soon the focus will go to what North Korea is doing and that is making nukes.

The expulsion of the monitoring scientists was referred to the Security Council. There is a meeting at the UN on Wed to consider the next steps...

Chad On April 9th the UN security council will take the issue of North Korea and they may impose sanctions to them but they already said that sanctions means declaration of war. :grrr:

Seems that every penny-ante @$$hole in the world is blowing off the UN...which has become, if not "irrelevant" then fecklessly obtuse in its toothless responses.

As to Kofi Annen...of COURSE the UN may have a role in post-war Iraq...whatever the coalition tells it to do.

North Korea understands one thing, strength! If they hadn't violated the agreement they made with President Clinton then we wouldnt be in this situation to begin with! Their capability to hit the US with a nuclear warhead is overated IMO. The recent test firings have only been 50 percent successful with a proven missile. The ICBM they have been developing is as yet unproven. Time to deal with them now before it gets worse!

Hey, the 4th sure is looking for a fight and is not completely unloaded yet. maybe N Korea would like to keep running thier mouths and give the 4th the fight they are looking for. besides, maybe Kim Jong Il should look at what we did to the Iraqis and see that war will mean hundreds of thousands of dead N Koreans

IMO I do not believe they have a nuclear weapon that is able to reach the United States YET! But I am sure they will or they would not be in test fire mode. Funny thing is... they aimed their last test fire missile in the direction of China. China is supposedly one of their biggest allies. :o
