Sources think Allied forces got Saddam & Sons...

#1 Postby breeze » Mon Apr 07, 2003 8:23 pm

MSNBC is reporting that senior administration sources
think Saddam and two sons were hit in a strike in Bagdad!
They feel like U.S. intelligence sources were lead to believe
where they were and struck and killed them! It's on, now...

Fox News: Defense officials told Fox News one Air Force B-1 bomber was called in for the strike in a Baghdad suburb. The heavy bomber dropped 4 2000-pound GBU-24 "bunker-buster" bombs. Sources said after the hit there was huge hole at the home where the meeting allegedly took place.

Monday's strike, executed at around 2:00 p.m. in Baghdad and 6:00 a.m. EST, came from a tip on the ground -- not a wiretap.

Sources said after the hit there was huge hole at the home where the meeting allegedly took place.

How do you confirm he was in there then?? Are there any pieces of him left after all that?

One more thing... Can you imagin being the lucky guy that got to drop the Bomb on saddam

As I type this, the intel was three-pronged, from separate sources on the ground; at least one was someone who should have been at that meeting, and "sold him out".

Taps on the "Jaguar" encryption system revealed that this meeting was to finalize escape plans for the top dogs, and that the number of high-level regime members, inclusive of Saddam and Sons Wrecking Company, Inc., may have been as high as 30 bigwigs. This was in a restaurant-home bunker in the Al Mansour area of Baghdad, primarily a commercial enclave.

More, the Arabic networks are also reporting this..and presenting it seriously.

Just heard on Fox that we used the 5000 pound bunker buster on that specific location and it leveled it, of course. If Saddam and Company were in there, can they say buh-bye?

I know that Fox News Channel actually broke this news at 9:45 PM ET during "Hannity & Comes" -- I see MSNBC reported it has soon as 9:23 PM ET at the earliest. Fox tends to have breaking news ("Fox News Alerts") very quickly as we have noticed during this war coverage and in general.

Oh, let's hope they get confirmation soon. We will see what the will of the people is if this is true.

Lets hope this time we got them. Gonna be a slow and tedious process though. The bomb site is not secure by Coalition forces - so evidence might be tainted. Hopefully we will get in there and take control of the search/find and removal process.
