NHC on holiday? Where's Lisa?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

NHC on holiday? Where's Lisa?

#1 Postby Florida_brit » Sun Oct 03, 2004 1:30 pm

I just wanted to see where abouts Lisa was and realised the NHC haven't updated its track recently....have they taken a much deserved break and gone on holiday? Or has Lisa be consumed by another weather system?

yes but it's reamants sure aren't,heck tonight it's expected to deepen and I suspect it may rapidly get deeper.

wind gusts of 70Mph possible,so just because it doesn't have anymore advisories,by all means doesn't mean it is finsihed.

Once the system becomes extratropical, the NHC quits issuing advisories. It's not a threat to the U.S.(that was obvious 5 days ago).

Go figure.

Try going to the following link: http://ows.public.sembach.af.mil/wxcharts/wxcharts.htm

Afterwards, click the Current Satellite Analysis link.
