Last night was very chilly here, we reached into the upper and even some mid 20's. yes, KingofWeather, I do not usually use the 18 or 6z GFS, it is an off hour one. It was the latest one that was on my bookmark at the time. Speaking of these temperatures, some of you should enter in the forecasting contest, test your skills. Anybody can join, and it is just for fun, look in the FOrecasting Contests Forum.

Well no, during the heart of winter our average low is around 40. It's nothing compared to up north but we do see a fair share of freezes and cold weather during the winter. Currently 87 w/ Heat index of 92...welcome to October lol.

Officially down to 31 at the airport this morning...probably upper 20's in outlying areas. Looks like the growing season is over...although I think some plants are hardy down to the mid 20's. I can't believe I actually had to close my windows last night...a week or so ago I was just opening them after it was close to 90.

I thought about it too, but just grabbed another blanket and ended up being ok. I may have to Monday night...it looks to be a few degrees colder, and it will be cooler during the day Tuesday than it is today. After this cooldown we may see some warm weather by the weekend...perhaps into the 80's again next week!

I'll be ready for the warm weather to come back! Still getting my vehicle prepared for the winter season. 80's would be sure bliss.
