I have a friend who just got back from doing work with the Division of Forestry at all 4 locations( including IVAN) and he said that Charley and Ivan was both horrible after effects, but that Charley was probably the worst.

Being here in cape Coral, between Ft Myers and Punta Gorda, I without a doubt think Charley was the worst! We go some pretty good winds all the way over here from Jeanne too, surprisingly to me.
Our poor, city, is finally beginning to look like a home again. I only wish I could say the same for Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and all of the other cities in Florida, from one coast to the next, the panhandle included, which have been terrorized this season!

The most damage is definitely Jeanne...it will probably be more expensive. Charley was the most devastating, albeit, a smaller swath of land.

He sure did! It was two days before I realized the devestation Charley did across the peninsula, as we were without electric or a battery operated radio. Then, finally, on the third day, a resturaunt opened where there was a TV. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I'm certanly gald he wasn't as big as Jeanne, Frances, or Ivan!!!

Great analogy! I cannot say that Charley had much to do here in N. Central Fl but Frances caused more devastation and Jeanne just exacerbated it all!
