This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

The Low could be coast hugging. Let's see if a non-tropical wave has separated and is setting-up in the Gulf. Could get a boost from that Yucatan pulse...

Ditto!!!!!!!!1 I had almost forgotten what rain looked like. We even lost power for 3 hours. That stunk, but it was worth it for the rain. Hope that next line moving in from the NW holds together. Then if that system pulls up here from the BOC later in the week, I can turn off the sprinkler timer. :D

Yeah, we need (WANT!!) it badly over here on the MS coast too. Hopefully, if it does come, it'll stop before it crosses into lower AL and points further east. There are literally hundreds (thousands?) of roofs badly in need of repair or rebuilding. And to add insult to injury, they are having a very difficult time finding roofers - experienced or otherwise.

Looks to me the energy has jumped shipped and moved off into the west coast of Mexico.

Yep, earlier there appeared to be a small circulation going, but went inland this afternoon. Nothing but good ole rain coming for Texas and LA. Some heavy I might add.

The potential is still there, IMO.
No doubt about it.
