Some would say its slanted against the Israelis, for the simple fact that none of them are interviewed (that was never the directors intent - as that synopsis mentioned, the director is shot by an Israeli tank during the filming of this section, and never has the chance to complete the Israeli section of the film). However, IMO what it really shows is just a mess ... a society caught between the abuses of the IDF and the abuses of the militants, who use angry and hurt children as pawns .... I have a hard time deciding who is worse, honestly .... its really tragic and depressing, but its a view of the Gaza Strip that Americans NEED to see and rarely do. So many Americans seem to forget that the Palestinians are PEOPLE, not just monsters.... many of whom just want to live, and protect their families....
No one from the IDF has been charged to date in the killing of the director. His killing is seen on tape at the end of the film - he and his crew have "TV" written in reflective tape on their jackets and all their gear, and are waving a large white flag as they try to escape what they know is a dangerous situation. They have their hands up as they approach the Israeli tank, and try to explain that they are media and just want to leave in English and in Arabic. The first shot goes over their heads, the second hits the director. No one has been charged or dismissed in the killing.
Tough to watch, and it raises a lot of questions - about both sides. But worth it IMO.
On a lighter note.....Renovate My Family!!! Thats the other show I was thinking of.... lol!

Must see tv?
About the only must see tv I have to watch is:
1) College football games on Saturdays
2) Pro football games on Sundays and Monday Night
3) Any Nascar race run on a superspeedway (as well as Bristol)
4) most Atlanta Braves games
5) WWE "Smackdown" (to my grandmother's chagrin
6) anything about the weather (watched the flick "Twister" twice last night on TBS....that tornado-chasing Jo Harding is my kind of woman
