Cold here again this morning...31. It looks like temps will really warm up for the rest of this week and into early next week. We may finally get some good rain up here, as it's been very dry over the last month or so. Once to about 9-10 days out, we may be in for some very cold, winter-like weather. Last night's Canadian sinks a polar vortex into the Lakes, and that would probably mean the first lake effect (snow) event, although it would likely be away from the shores since the water is still warm. The GFS and Euro support this option near day 10 as well, so it looks as if our little Indian Summer will be brief.

Same in our region, it looks to warm up until later next week when we will then begin another cool down.

Not only did we get SOME rain, but I got TONS of it! I was out about 6pm last night, noticed dark clouds to my SW. I went down the street a bit and it started pouring! Yeah we need the rain here in N KY but GEEZ...not THAT fast!

BTW I have at least a 20% chance of rain almost every forecast period except Sunday and Tuesday! Meaning almost 24 hours a day except for during the daytime on the two days I just mentioned.

I can attest to this (Time sensitive):

That's up to 1" of rain since Tuesday morning at my home. I imagine most of it came last night alone!
