Not quite as dark here, but it looks like it is moving in from Galveston. Hopefully it won't be as bad as Monday when the power was out for hours. That for the "dog warning." If he hides under the bed, let us know, so we can run for cover. We're a little gun-shy down here after Monday. :raincloud:

Nice to have you at the campfire Shellbi66. Pretty dreary looking here on the North Side of Houston.

Remember when we were kids our parents couldn't keep us out of the puddles. Now as adults, it is still hard to avoid them. :sprinkler:
Dry off Duck and watch out for the new batch of storms heading ashore now.

Welcome aboard Shellbi66.

Yep we had our first round about 2:15 or so in the Westheimer/Gessner area. Nothing spectacular here, just a good hard downpour. Can use some more like that!!! This is not directly related to the BOC scenario, however. It is related to the stationary fromt nowmoving back north. the heavy stuff from the GOM/BOC systems won't be here till sometime tomorrow evening at the earliest IMO. It does however look to be a VERY WET Thursday-Saturday.

Welcome Shelbi66!

Duckie, didn't you paddle to keep from sinking??

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm a weather fanatic but an amateur for sure. Stay safe and dry if you can.

I need to remember to get a map of Houston, if even a small one, and mark where everyone is.

All I know right now is that some of you are getting a break, but more is on the way. I just don't remember which side of Houston everyone is on.

No round here in Pearland as of yet. Looks like the rain heading this way is breaking up right around League City. Notice the north side is getting it pretty good as well as Galveston. Im caught in the middle I guess.....

It got very dark here in beautiful Cypress, Texas.

Lot's of tropical winds and rains. We had a gust out of the south at 27 mph according to Weatherbug.

Cy-Fair College had an hour-long power outage.

But, hey...what's that brewing down there in the Gulf, eh?

...and it's getting a little more breezy here in Biloxi. A steady 15+ out of the southeast. Just drove Hwy 90 from Gulfport to Biloxi and the sand is blowing across the highway pretty good in some areas. I supposed this may be connected to this "possible" low in the Gulf?? Forecast is for increasing wind and rain into Sunday.
