Thank you for two GREAT years so far

Well this friday the 8th marks Storm2k's second birthday!!! What a couple of years it has been.. 2 years ago this site was just a thought in our minds, and has since gone MUCH MUCH further then Marshall and I actually every imagined.. Thank you ALL so much for making this site so great!! You truley are the BEST.. We would also like to give a GREAT BIG thanks to our staff.. At times it can be a VERY VERY thankless job.

Agree 100% with chad.It has been amazing that in 2 years how storm2k has turned in terms of the growing membership as for the quality of the board in general.And also the board suffered some downtimes when the server was changed to a new one but now this board is ranked as one of the best around the net and is not me saying it but I know that there are stats that show it.

I, for one, NEVER would have dreamed Storm2k would have grown so fast, and become for many, a primary source for tropical weather, and just how many depended on the information which seemed someone would have first before ever reaching the general public's ear ...

Storm2k was an invaluable tool during the 2004 Tropical Atlantic Season in which we've seen many ups and downs, and a lot of tragedy in between, in what will likely go down as one of the most, if not, the most severe modern day season of record...

To the many members who have come to depend on myself, and the many other talented amateurs and professional mets alike, coupled with the official TPC information, I would like to thank you for making Storm2k what it has become today ...

I truly enjoy the efforts of all the members to help further the art and science of meterology.

As a moderator and forecaster for this site I must echo everything stated above. When this site was first started there were indeed dreams, dreams to provide a friendly environment to post in and to provide quality weather information, especially for the tropics, but also for year around. The othere forums besides the weather forums have of course also been the reason this site has flourished.

TO SAY THE LEAST STORM2K HAS GROWN BEYOND THE WILDEST DREAMS OF ANY OF THE INAUGARAL MEMBERS-FAR BEYOND. I remember when we wondered how many years it would take to reach 1,000 members, much less the 5,000+ members we now have.

THANKS ARE IN ORDER TO MARSHALL AND CHAD, ALL THE MODERATORS AND THE FORECASTERS FOR CREATING AND MAINTAINING SUCH A WONDERFUL SITE!!! HOWEVER THE BIGGEST THANKS NEEDS TO GO TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF STORM2K BECAUSE WITHOUT YOU AND YOUR SUPPORT STORM2K WOULD NOT EXIST!!
