A big high five to storm2k!
I just wanted to say thank you to the developers of storm2k. I found the website during on of the impending hurricanes...Frances, I think, but there were so many! Anyways, for the first month I just would lurk...to see what people were thinking about the storms since I live in Florida. But then I ventured to the Political and Off Topic Forums, and I have to say that I have had some of the most interesting, animated discussions with many intelligent, entertaining people. Although we don't always agree, it's usually polite and always informative. Thanks storm2k for giving bright people with diverse interests a forum for discussion!

Sunupgal, it's so good to have you here! I don't
think I ever "officially" greeted you, but, welcome
to Storm2K! You will find a wonderful family of
weather "nuts" here, be it hurricanes, tornadoes,
or any type severe weather situations! I see that
you have found our other topics, besides weather -
do feel free to express your ideas - we are a diverse
bunch!

Thanks! I really am enjoying the conversation, but I have to say that everyone at my office thinks I am a hurricane nut, because they think that is the only thing on storm2k...but I will convert them. I really am enjoying the political forum...I know alot more about politics than hurricanes!
