Quite confused with tonights TWD.
TROPICAL CYCLONE DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE NEXT 36 HOURS AS THE LOW TRACKS NWD TOWARDS THE TEXAS COAST.
The TX area is dropping FFWs and indicating all weather will move E of TX

I agree Zack. The System coming in from the west is still advancing and pushing some dry air eastward accross the state at the moment..lotsa energy rotating down and around towards Texas..

There is a small low just off the coast of TX that was wrapping the rain into Houston earlier. Most of that rain is being pushed East now by the upper winds. It is possible that the low in the BOC and this other low could get together and make something but is looking less likely attm with the continued push of everything towards the East. The low in BOC/SW GOM still has not moved much but is slowly inching N.
