event? Can't help but wonder, as that front is really pushing this system eastward. Maybe Mississippi, too?

I also believe this will be another Florida Panhandle event, or maybea little to the west. I see a landfall between New Orleans and Appalachicola.

According to that sat pic it looks to be going just a slight tad bit south of due east. Is that what you are thinking or something different?

People who don't have their roofs covered better get tarps on their homes here ASAP. There are some that don't yet! It's sad. Not enough roofers to go around right now in Pensacola.
