#1 Postby nolastorm » Fri Oct 08, 2004 9:29 am

Excited to see the rain!! I don't know where this is headed but we are getting plenty of rain here in New Orleans and we sure need it - just hope it doesn't become a flood event - been there and done that!

We're closing in on 3" of rain so far today and with rain yesterday and earlier this week we're over 5", definately the wettest we've been since June and it was much needed. Still don't know what to make out of the GOM system, looks like its going more east but that could just be the cloud tops being sheared that way. One things for sure is we'll be socked in this moderate/heavy rain throughout this afternoon. We could have 4-5" over here before it's all said and done today.
