Josephine in 1996

This is a TD. No doubt. In fact.... something like Josephine in 1996 is kind of what I am expecting.

This is very interresting, very similar to Josephine. With Josephine Tampa Bay had tides 4 -6 ' above normal with alot of flooding. Hopefully that will not happen, plus it appears this system is moving more ene than ne. Could increase the threat to West Central FL.if it continues on this track and developes. :eek: :eek:

That sounds about right. She happened a little while before I started watching storms, but the image below suggests that she was a rather lop-sided system.

Yes, the pressure dropped to the low 980s, but winds didn't quite support Hurricane strength.

Typical baroclinic formation...

Yeah I remember watching Josephine. I do think that this system we have now will do something similar although not the same as Josephine but close enough. Im just not buying the LA track considering how its moving right now.

Josephine was closer to florida. If you look at the visable this system is moving nne. I was fooled by the IR too :oops: :wink:
