Model Plots/Courtesy SFWMD

All of the West Coast Of Florida should pay attention to this storm. The longer it moves east the more it could impact the West Coast. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

How about a fourth time?? :D ... I do understand members don't read most threads, but I am one of the few that try at times; in fact I used to scan through every thread up to a few months ago.

Nice of you to post the link to the models for all interested to see.

In any event, I agree, this system may indeed effect the Florida peninsula.

I'm "cautiously optimistic" these plots won't verify.
(am I being too optimistic?)

No your not being too optimistic. Everybody(including you) is entitled to their own opinion.

I've been over to the SWFMD web site and I can't find where to bring up the plot link you gave us. Could you help me find out how to bring up their model plots so I can find them for future storms? Thanks, Karen

Karen,
I've never been able to find a direct link on the site, either.
Just use the format above, it's the only way I've been able to get there.

Karenfromheaven, I just bookmarked the link, then when there is a new depression, storm ect I just bring up the link and if you look at the number near the end of the current link just before it says ".gif"(highlighted in blue), http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/plots/storm_14.gif, I change that number to whatever storm is out there. In this case I changed the number from "12.gif" to "13.gif" and the new model run for that new storm comes up. I then bookmark the new link and refer to it as long as the storm exists. If there are multipile storms i create and bookmark those links as well. At the end of the season I keep the last link bookmarked for next year and when storm #1 developes for 2005 I will bring up the old link and change the number to "01.gif" and start the new season. Hope this helps! :D

Better yet, why not just bookmark the index:

http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/plots.html

As a new invest is declared, the model plots will be added to the index.
