DISCLAIMER: USE NHC for OFFICAL INFO
Matthew is knock, knock, knockin on heaven's door.
It should move north. Into the Louisiana coast in the next 24-36 hours. Track is shifted much farther west from last time, and is basically right on track with the NHC.
I am only doing a 24 hour forecast since Matthew is falling apart and should be dead as soon as or right after landfall. He has been cut, slashed, and stabbed by 40 kt of shear overnight. He is a goner.... as they played in "Apocalypse Now"... this is the end my friend. It's the end for Matthew. Some good rain, but expect about 100 mph weaker winds than most systems this year. If the shear continues, it will be Reservoir Dogs for Matthew.
12 HRS-- 27.0 N-- 91.0 W-- 30 kt
24 HRS-- 30.3 N-- 89.5 W-- 20 kt (INLAND)
