Recon to check 96L tommorow, tropical or subtropical in 24 h

#1 Postby cycloneye » Sat Oct 09, 2004 10:10 am

Code: Select all

THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED ABOUT 275 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
BERMUDA IS GRADUALLY BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED. CONDITIONS APPEAR TO
BE FAVORABLE FOR A TROPICAL OR SUBTROPICAL CYCLONE TO FORM DURING
THE NEXT 24 HOURS OR SO AS THE SYSTEM MOVES TOWARD THE NORTHWEST.
AN AIR FORCE PLANE WILL CHECK THE AREA ON SUNDAY...IF NECESSARY.
INTERESTS IN BERMUDA SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM

The above is the 11:30 AM TWO.Bermuda folks should pay attention to the soon to be Nicole.

Nicole :)
This has serious potential, and it reminds me of Karen in 2001. Hopefully Bermuda won't get it too bad, but at least recon should be in before it is too late.

If it moves NW long enough.. would it have a chance to impact either the DelMarva or the NE? or would it still be too far away
