Station DPIA1 (east end of Dauphin Island, AL) had a peak wind gust of 36 kts (41+ mph) during the 4 o'clock hour this afternoon. And it's still gusting into the low to mid 30 knot ranges this evening.

The West End of Dauphin Island has experienced "overwash" flooding for the third morning in a row. Here's a pic of Sunday am from the end of Bienville Blvd looking back eastward

Farther west, the tidegage at Waveland , MS showed a maximum tidal height Sunday morning at least 3' above the predicted level. Note it is nearing a "NEAP" tide phase. IF this storm (as weak as it is) had come ashore during a higher tide, flooding would have been even more of an issue in the region.
