Howdy! Yes folks, I'm still alive, barely LOL! Between STUDIES, work and SEARCHES! We've had 2 BACK TO BACK searches since Saturday, 2 Oct. BOTH were LIVE finds, the last one, a STRAIGHT 41 hour search yielded 2, 16 year old boys who had been lost for 2 days and nights!

Just finished my first tests in Criminal Justice and Criminal Investigation, scored a 100% on BOTH 8-) My brain is fried but that's O'TAY  Anyone interesed in seeing what classes I'm taking, go to:
http://www.kaplancollege.edu

Gotta run, I won't be back until next Weds OR Thurs, it's VACATION time! WELL....kinda, I have to take my books AND my laptop  :ggreen: It's time for our yearly sojourn to Albq, Santa Fe and Taos New Mexico for my birthday! "UGH..........45 yrs old and counting!"

Hey Dennis....Congratulations on the test scores! Nothing wrong with pushing yourself and your limits at the young age of 45! Enjoy your time off.

I'll be moving the last of the crushed rock around the house today..a project that started in the heat of July. I figure I have shoveled, dumped, or otherwise moved about 18 tons. And I'll be 59 next birthday!

Thanks for being there for the lost souls up your way. Bet you've never really thought about doing anything else! We know what kind of guy you are!

My best to Michelle too!

Congrats to you Dennis. You have been working hard these past couple of years and it sure is paying off. You can certainly use a break from the looks of things and I certainly hope that you enjoy your time off. Happy birthday to you as well and see ya when you get back. :)

I've been thinking of you. I'm glad that you'll be able to make that trip to New Mexico that you always look forward to every year. Congratualtions on your scores!!!

I've been on strike duty myself with the Atlantic City casino workers strike. Today is my first day off since two weekends ago. I have to go back to work tomorrow. :(

I'm HOME  "LOL!" Na....it's GREAT getting away BUT in the same breath, it's ALWAYS nice coming home!

Vacation was WONDERFUL as always but WAY TOOOOOOO SHORT! I'm refreshed and READY to cram some MORE! Actually, I *studied* 3 hours per day on vacation. I don't EVEN want to get behind like last week  Thanks for all the Kudos on the tests, I've got another this Friday, actually, every Friday until Christmas break! It's TOUGH but ya know what?? I THRIEVE on this kinda stress such as it is.....I function better mentally and feel better physically!

I'm taking the night off from studying cuz I'm 2 days AHEAD this week "LOL!"

Linda......you are SO right, the criminal investigation isn't TOO tough since I've had practical, on the job training PLUS the academy HOWEVER, the Criminal Justice System class is KICKIN' MY BUTT  It's TOUGH PLUS the professor is SO detail oriented, I mean, there are 9-10 discussion questions PER CLASS that she requires at LEAST a 500 word essay PER question
