Looks like I GOT IT! :)

The picture is starting to come into focus and it looks like you are now officially looking at a Wal Mart Employee..

I have an interview at 9:30 am tomorrow..

I called Mr. Taylor this morning and after being given the run around having to try to talk to personnel.. I said ya know what.. I'll go down to Wal Mart myself and speak to personnel..

That is exactly what I did.. :) and it got me a 9:30 am tomorrow job interview..

The only weakness is I think they wanna put me in the deli. I have nothing against the deli.. But I don't think it'd be 1 of my strong points, I'd rather stock, work a register or be a department, Maybe when I talk to them at the interview tomorrow they'll see that and maybe put me somewhere else..

Plus I think of it this way.. That Wal Mart store has nearly 35-40 registers up front. On any given day.. they probably don't even have 1/2 of them being worked.. So I think personally I'd be better there.. :)

We'll see though..Maybe I'll like the deli or maybe they'll put me somewhere else.. lol

:) I'm kinda excited woo hoo :)

Hey, congratulations! :D Good luck with the interview (although from what you've said it sounds merely a formality).

CONGRATULATIONS JOHN!! :D

VERY, VERY PROUD OF YOU, WXBUDDY!!!! :D :D

The Deli department may not be that bad at all...there may in fact be less pressure there than ringing up a cash register! :) Or bagging groceries w/out something getting crushed!

The VERY BEST on your interview tomorrow morning, Bro! :D

I've always heard for job-getting pointers that aggressiveness is a key factor! :D

Good Luck! But keep into consideration, the deli may be where they have slots to fill. You will be the bottom of the totem pole so if you want to work there, take whatever position they offer you and work your way into another postition. I think StormCrazyIowan works in the deli area at her Walmart.

John, take it from someone who worked their way up in retail...the deli is not a bad place to work. They have such a hard time finding committed, dedicated people that all I can tell you is just get the job. You then need to show them how good of a worker you are, there are not that many who try to shine.
