Well it all started at GoPbi where I was a regular, not as far back as 1997 though. I think I started there in 1999. Through various generations and different chat rooms and other MB's including TWC(yes I am a bannee)I ended up here when Ticka emailed me about it(she and I had been anticipating doing our own site)and I fell in love with the site!!! Hey no comments about that being sick!!LOL!!! :lol:

I truly believe this is and will continue to be the best site on the net!! Just sit back and watch as we go and grow!!

Well I was at GOPBI board in 2000 when I started at the internet and then came the idea from some of who where there to create a new board,Ticka,Marshall,Chad and others and after many months of thinking about it it came on on october 8th of last year and here I am at the best board of the net by far.

I was posting on the Gopbi board and got an invite from my dear friend ,ticka to come on over and check out Storm2k. And boy am I ever glad I did. :lol:

Storm2k is the best board on the net. :lol:

I was one of the TWC Message Board peeps. I remember someone posting something about Storm2K, but by then the link had already been edited. So...I typed in storm2k.com and was mad when it did not pop up. I then went to Yahoo! and typed in Storm2K and found ya'll! Glad I did.

I was at Storm98 or 99, don't remember which one. I was a storm fanatic. I was more of a lurker and not much of a poster, still am pretty much, but I love this gang, because (generally) everyone gets along. I actually found this site by a post that Ticka posted on WWBB.

came from TWC after I got banned for life for mentioning the awful word abortion one too many times.

Actually tried widreman's site first but it wasn't taking off. This is a great site with reasonable admins.

I was a regular poster at WWBB (among others). I've known ticka and vbhoutex since 2000 at gopbi.

I used to visit Storm98 and Storm99 from a college computer lab in the town I grew up in, in Massachusetts. I remember seeing HoumaLA/Velma there, I am not sure what I was using as a member name then, I think it may have had "ColdFront" in it. I believe I also accesses the "Lowe's site," too.

I registered with TWC in June 2002 and really enjoyed discussing weather issues and the off-topic issues with everyone there and knew we couldn't just end our relationship with each other as a group. I haven't gotten many IMs or PMs from members here, but maybe some day I will.
