Ok, by now everyone should know that I am crazy for Sheryl Crow. Anything by Sheryl Crow is great music. I've also really gotten into Liz Phair and hopefully by next week I'll have all of her albums. I also love the Dixie Chicks but I don't have any of their albums, but once their next one is released you can be sure I'll be first in line buying it! I also like some other county music, as long as it isn't written or sung by Toby Keith. There's some classic rock that I like, like the Eagles, Rod Stewart, Journey, but by far the genre that I like the most is adult alternative...Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Norah Jones, that kind of stuff. Oh, and I LOVE Sheryl Crow! But I think I already said that.

No Toby Keith? Why not?

I think you love Sheryl Crow like I love Olivia Newton-John. No wait, cancel that...maybe not.

Well I'm more into 80's rock. I also listen to a lot of Christian music. I can listen to a lot of stuff. But I never could stand instrumental music...there's gotta be some words to the music.

You can add "Modern Country" to that for me occasionally, but I am a product of the the 60's and 70's.

I like just about everything, expect for heavy metal and rap. Although, I don't listen to music too often.

You seem more "gentle" than liking that kind of music.

Liking this combination of music is great for a teenager and young adult.

Not weird at all ... many metal bands and some underground bands like Coroner from Sweden were a speed/thrash metal band which very much was classically influenced ... as well as many, many guitarists ... I can easily see the relation ...

Classical / metal ... both played with intensity ...
