Baghdad falls
With U.S. tanks rolling along major streets, Iraqis waving American flags and key elements of Saddam's government captured by U.S. forces, Iraqi regime appears to have lost control of capital.

Lets just hope this is cautious optimism right now. Until I hear Sadamn and his sons are dead - I won't rule out a surprise attack.
The military minders didn't show up for work and with all the looting and loitering in the streets by the Iraqi's - hopefully the US MIGHT has flexed its muscles and the major fighting is over with....

I agree Dennis....SH is very manipulative, and IF he has a nuke, a chemical or biological weapon waiting for us, he is surely going to wait till he can impart maximum kill. The numbers are just not there yet.

Most folks are greeting the soldiers, but, there are still some
pockets of resistance reported, around the city.

They're discussing another reason of concern, as well.
With all of those civilians running around in the streets
and pulling up in their cars, any one of them could be a
suicide bomber. I would definitely be nervous in that crowd!
.....Doesn't seem to be really over yet; we're going to be there for some time according to our own leaders. They already did not like who was selected to run the country in the interim...
