The National Geographic Channel runsHurricane Summer last night-a review of the 2004 season. Obviousely there was more than enough material even though the season isn;t over. Its channel 276 on directv. It was a good program. Chris Landsea had alot of airtime.

i didn't think the dome home exactly came through ivan with flying colors. i also am not sure that thing is going to withstand 300 mile per hour winds like the owner says it will.

If the people in that house could fall asleep during the storm and wake up dry I would have to say it was hugely sucessful. Of course 300 mph would only come in a tornado so you can't really plan for it, but I still like my chances better in a dome than in a wooden house 15 feet off the ground.

For those who didn't get to see it the first time around, here's a poll that was run in case you'd like to offer your vote.

I want a dome house one day. I think ever since I saw one built on the road by our house, IVe wanted one. Its groovy baby.
