TOMORROW ...
A SFC low pressure is progged to develop over South Carolina tomorrow out ahead of a mid-level trough along the Piedmont where the best baroclinicity resides and swings NE thru Eastern NC and Southeastern VA.
Strong Mid and Upper level JET MAXes in the order of 70-80 kts at the 500mb level and 200mb winds in excess of 120 KTS are progged to move over the Eastern Carolinas coupled with strong convergence and somewhat favorable shear parameters suggest a threat for damaging winds in stronger convection/bow echo formation, along with a potential for isolated supercells/tornadoes ... modest destabilization may occur in the best baroclinic zone around the Piedmont of the Carolinas where skies have an opportunity to clear allowing for decent insolation and result in CAPES of 1000-1500 j/kg ...

That developing storm means moist, warm air will move northward over the Outer Banks on Wednesday!!!
Check out weather.com's page! It's official!!

Nags Head gets to enjoy a high temperature of 74 degrees on Wednesday, and a low of 67 degrees!!! WOW THAT'S REAL OBX WEATHER!! Because that means their dewpoints will be in the mid 60s at the very least!!
That would mean that Wednesday's T/Td maxima would obtain at approximately 74 degrees temperature accompanied by a dewpoint of approximately 65 to 66 degrees!
I wish I could be down there to enjoy a nice warm jebwalk in 74/66 T/Td conditions!! It was SO CHILLY when I was down there on Monday, about 63/47.
The Outer Banks get the best weather!!!!

WeatherBug out of Nags Head in the OBX registered a high today of 77 degrees, and a low this morning of 63!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The OBX gets the BEST WEATHER!!!!
Oh why did this happen 2 days AFTER I left my precious OBX?!!
Right now, the OBX is enjoying a temperature of 72 nice degrees with a dewpoint of 70 degrees!!
What I would give just to be there right now, on the beach, breathing in some nice warm, moist sea air and enjoying a nice long leisurely jebwalk!!!
The OBX is THE place to be!!!!!!
Only about 363 more days until our 2005 OBX trip............
I can hardly wait!!
