What a great start to the new government!!! Quite a cabinet you're building there DJ!!

This definitely boosts the moral of our military guys and gals - enjoy the moment - but finish the job.

BTW - who is going to pick who is going to run IRAQ - I know they said someone is already at the helm in Basra - lets hope its not a UN Goon.

AMEN!!! As stated elsewhere the new government is going to be a tough one to form.

Oh, we know that it's not over - there's still alot of work to
be done! But, major objectives are being met - therein
lies the celebration!

Yes and a well deserved celebration!!!

LoL, wonder where the unemployment line is?

I can show him!!!

.....Doesn't seem to be really over yet; we're going to be there for some time according to our own leaders. They already did not like who was selected to run the country in the interim...

And therein lies one of the biggest problems-2000 yr old fueds! That and the fact that we are not in control of hardly any of Northern Iraq-Where Saddam's home of Tikrit is. Until we have conrol of ALL of Iraq and especially this area IT IS NOT OVER!!!

Saddam is definitely our of a job! Saddam is definitely not in control of Iraq! I celebrate this as the Iraqi's are doing. But there is a HUGE job left to do in Iraq and the entire Middle East to really stabilize the situation in that area.

That was enjoyable to watch....as was seeing Saddam's statue taken down, and all those Iraqi men stomping on it, dancing on it...dragging the head through the streets. That's freedom folks....what it feels like to live under a brutal dictator and finally, after all the years of pain, oppression, and murders to experience a taste of freedom, and it's a sweet taste indeed.

It has been a day I'll never forget, a day that's made me feel very proud to be an American. Yes, there's still lots of work to be done, and a great deal of danger....but I'm humming the Munchkins theme song.."Ding, dong the witch is dead, the witch is dead, the witch is dead...ding, dong the wicked witch is dead" :)

The wicked witch Saddam may not be dead, but IMO he's on life support...and will never rule those now free Iraqi people again. I'm so thankful for them....I'm so thankful to our military, the brave men and women that make us all proud. I'm also extremely proud of President Bush. He's taken a lot of abuse the past couple months, but both on 9/11 and now as shown what he's made of. He's a man of honor.

God Bless America....and God Bless the freedom loving citizens of Iraq!
