NWS ILN Storm total since 6am Tuesday (WARNING: Time sensitive data)

I personally saw the heaviest rain around 7pm ET near my home. Recorded about .6" there but it's a start. More much needed rain today...WOOOHOOOO!

It sure is about time. The trees and shrubs really needed it before we went into our first freeze. I was about to water 4 trees again! Even though it was a miserable day out, wx wise, I don't think anyone was grumbling in Cincinnati. The rain was long overdue.

I know we needed it, but I STILL would rather have sunny skies than the gray sky we have this morning. Heck just about a hundred miles SW they actually saw things clear out a little bit last night and they're down in the 40's.

All this damp, grey cool weather reminds me of dear old Britain...making me homesick!

It's not going to last a lot longer. It'll dry out tomorrow, then we're supposed to drop to the lower 30's Sunday am! Then we shoot up into the 70s next week maybe.
