HOUSTON, Texas -- An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday night for a northwest Harris County 4-year-old boy who never came home from school
250 Volunteers Search Overnight For Missing Boy
Bryce Tucker, 4, was last seen at Tipps Elementary School, 5611 Queenston Blvd., at about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Tucker is a pre-kindergarten student and was counted for the bus count as school got out.
Officials said there is no indication of foul play. They believe Tucker did not get on a bus.
When Tucker did not arrive home by 4:50 p.m., his mother called police.
Tucker's bus driver told authorities the boy always gives her a hug when he walks off the bus, but said she did not see him Wednesday.
Police said that all Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District buses were searched but the boy was not found.
Tucker is 3 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 42 pounds. He has short black hair in an Afro with brown eyes, light brown complexion and a 1-inch scar between his eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow sleeveless pullover shirt with blue and yellow shorts. He is also wearing black oxford shoes and carrying a Spiderman book bag.
Around 250 search volunteers used infrared cameras and passed out fliers early Thursday morning, hoping someone has seen the child.
Searchers said they would keep looking for the child until he is found.
"We've had a 4-year-old boy missing all night long. We can only imagine what's going through his mind, so we need to get him home to his dad and mom," Equusearch volunteer Tim Miller told Local 2.
Anyone with information about Tucker's disappearance or location is asked to contact the Harris County Constable at (281) 376-3472 or Texas Equusearch at (877) 270-9500.
