Each hurricane was so different, but I'd have to go with Jeanne just based on what it did in Caribbean, Abacos (almost as bad as Floyd) and even in Central FL. But that doesn't mean that I feel that Charley or Ivan weren't absolutely nasty. And Frances wasn't a very nice girl.

I am having a hard time figuring out the 50KT myself. But if thats what final best-track says, then thats the landfall intensity

Boy did we need recon in there at landfall

Something else rare was the South Atlantic hurricane...Which could also be a storm of the year!
